History of MLDB –

MLDB is established vide Notification No. H. 12018/266/2022-LJD dated. 29^th March, 2022 initially it was humbly started with a skeleton structure headed by adhoc Chairman Dr. R. Lalzirmawia Chhangte IAS, Gov’t Notification No. f.23015/1/2022-EDN/pt dated 18^th May, 2022 F. Lalnunmawia Supt Gov’t Vide Notification No. A.1102/1/2022-MLDB dated 13^th June, 2022 and two supporting staff (F.C. Lallawmkimi & F. Lalkhawngaihsanga) and one personal Assistant Lalfakawmi Ralte. Subsequently, regular Chairman was appointed by the Government Vide Notification NO. F.23015/1/2022-EDD dated 14^th July, 2023 which was the followed by appointment of Board Secretary Government Notification No. F. 23012/1//2022-EDN dated 6^th October, 2023 and Superintendent (K. Vanlaldiki) Government Notification No. F. 23015/1/2022-EDD(pt) dated 14^th September, 2023 respectively.
